Subject: A Few Answers

Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana
This field was no-till corn after beans planted April 12. It's funny because this time last year I only had 20% of my corn planted and no beans, like someone said "what a difference a year makes".

The rows are 36"....I'm an old fashioned oddball around here, but it just never all fell together at one time for corn heads, planters, sprayers etc. to trade at once. I actually came close a couple years ago when I got a different planter, but then I looked at the rear wheels on the 4430...and the front axle on the 1086....and I thought "Na I don't want to move those" (LoL). I no-till every thing and I have a 18" splitter planter that plants between the old corn rows. The beans in the Pic were planted April 24.

This corn was starting to look bad until we got rain Sunday night (1.5"), I swear it doubled in size in 36-48 hours.

As far as the bibs..........if the wife would let me, it would be the only thing I ever wore (LoL).
