| Travis, our STX 435 drives straight in autosteer but if you're not lined up good it will really jerk you around. We're running a Trimble 500 with hyd steering. One problem I have noticed with it that I haven't gotten an answer for yet is that if you stop in the middle of the field on your AB line you have a heck of a time getting it to engage when you start back up. Tech thinks maybe it's the button on the console but I'm not so sure as works ok any other time.
Our reciever is mounted in front of the cab between the lights. Power I believe comes off the key switch and shuts off when the key is off. I want to run it hot all the time & put it's on on / off switch in. Our Versy was that way & I like it much better as I could shut the tractor down & not have to wait for the 500 to power back & reboot. | |
