Subject: RE: Considering a new sprayer. Hagie & Deere

Garrett County, MD
We have a 4720 w/ auto steer, swath control and norac. Really like it and i am not a deere man at all. Havent run a newer hagie, so cant comment there, but I would say there is not much to dislike about the deere. Great sprayer. Also we are in the Hills worst than I would venture to say almost anyone on agtalk and we get along. The rear weight is noticable and you have to be careful but havent had any problems like backing into a hole and not pulling out. Although this is the 800 gallon machine... I was looking at the Hagie and Nitro when I bought this and I will say that while I did not test drive either, I was not impressed at all with the Nitro's quality of build. Seemed like they just bought a bunch of parts and threw it together. That was a side motor unit. Maybe they are better now. Hagies seem nice, much better than the old ones. Good Luck.
