Subject: RE: Considering a new sprayer. Hagie & Deere

Flandreau, SD

We have 2 hagies a 14 and a 16 both 2009's.  both 120s and we have a Sidedress 16 row bar.

If we was tradeing up, I would for sure go for a 12 with the new alum 120s.  The 14 and 16 are pretty heavy still, (we have the older tough steel 120's).

Even with auto height, the front boom is still a selling point here.

Both been pretty easy going after the first year gremlins which wasn't too bad.

We have autosteer on the 16,  it is riechhardt hyd steering on waas.  It works really well on broad acre spraying.  But around here, the sprayer moves around to much trying to follow rows.  I blame it on ground conditions as lots of times guys run row cleaners deep and you end up running on a berm in the middle of the row.

I have not ran the sprayers much last couple years, but would like to see how it handles following rows in a bean field that was rolled.  I can put my Omni receiver on it for that.
