Ohio | We are kicking around the idea of demoing a self propelled sprayer. Like the Deere 4830 and the Hagie STS 12. We spray with 120' booms and we will want autosteer. Neighbors have a Hagie and seem to like it. The Deere is obviously very popular too. I have heard they may have finally figured out the autosteer on the 2012 Hagies, but that has been hear say. Service and support is huge and Deere is almost impossible to beat in our area. However, the upfront boom is very hard to beat. Have thought about Deere 4930, but they are just too darn heavy. Have seen ruts made around here with a big Deere that will make a grown man cry. Any opinions are welcome. User experience would be great. Thanks. | |
