WC IL
I am cultivating some corn now where the seed trench has opened up and is actually breaking the roots and the corn is laying over. No evidence of pythium. Trying to get some dirt around the base of the plants to hold them up. And no, this was not shallow planted, it was planted at 2 1/4 ". Planted in ideal conditions on 4/26, then 2" rain on 4/29, none since then. Ground is harder than iron, difficult to get cultivator in the ground without bringing up boulders. There has been some replant here due to pythium as well, some up to V4-5.
