north west arkansas | Jim, my uncle leaves in central Iowa and usually buys all his calves in the during harvest time. He also usually buys alot later in the day and buys alot of singles and smaller groups. He seems to get all he wants to buy every year. He runs them thru the winter and then sells the lighter calves 500 to 600 pds in the spring for grass calves and he runs the rest on grass and then sells the big end usually in aug weighing in the 8 to 900pds. | |
