Big Square - 5/16/2012 23:27 On 5-7 I bought a calf for a neighbor. 215lbs bull calf for $390.00 a head. When I got the ticket it figured at 1.81 a lb or something. I thought that was a pretty sweet deal if the calf got along ok. Please educate me here: seems like a 215 lb bull calf is roughy just 2 months old. What do you do with them? Seems like they are just off the cow. Barely started grazing if at all. Not bunk broke.... Bottle calves??? What do you do with a 215 lb 2 month old calf? Seems like that size should be on the cow for a bit longer? Jim at Dawn
