I will tell you what you know. Your money is in the bank, and he is placing a huge and very risky bet. I sold some open hiefers a week and half ago and they brought 1.29 and weighed 819 which I was very happy with.
Holly crap that's high. I'm giving between .80 to 1.05 for those hiefertty type of things from 750-1200lbs, and I thought I was pushing my luck. Of course I'm getting about 15% cow cows that I have to send back, sometimes that makes money most times you lose a little. Cow market is hot enough that adding a liitle condition (especially on the really thin ones) even cows can make few bucks over a couple weeks. |
Sold some Backgrounded cattle again today.
