I used to mix it in ground temp water, and would always have crop left in the tank. I was injecting into a pivot. (Pump out of top of tank) So it wasn't much hassle like spraying would be. I suspect you probably can't dissolve much more than 1 lb per gallon. But really wouldn't attempt it without hot water. Not what you want to hear, but I suspect you would have better luck with spray grade ams or calcium nitrate. More $.
