I think we're actually losing a little capacity with this change. We were putting 25-30 acres per day through each Massey (we usually ran 4 in grass seed). I hope to put 50 acres per day through each NH. So I expect to do 10-20 acres less per day.....but hopefully with less headaches.

And with half the operators! Never harvested grass seed... don't know exactly how much help you use, i.e. grain carts, trucks, etc... but I hope you are still saving some money and some wear and tear on yourself! |
