Corn silage is 35 to 38%the starch. Balance with straw. High intakes are not important if the cows are healthy. My intakes dropped when I went to this ration and the cows are healthier. Dry cows seem to eat less of a higher energy diet. High intakes are overrated. Worry about healthy cows.
