If you are on soft dirt bagging keeps the juices in and base dryer, Where I was piles didnt work, dirt sucked all moisture out resulting in poor feed, not to mention the soft mud mixed in with feed which is not a good thing at all,

If you have hard dirt or hard surface like concrete or similar it might work, Felt the increase of feed quality and less dirt paid for bagging, Called it the cheapest shed on the place.
