The danger posed by Gramoxone or Paraquat was from poisioning by swallowing ( intentional as in suicide or accidental when it was in soda bottle and unlabled), since you likely would not use a soda bottle to measure with and would need a defective nose to get past the smell, the emetic would cause you to vomit violently.

If you follow the lable and use the protective clothing as all pesticides require, you should be safe.

I could not find in my short search,the piece of info that placed Paraquat in relationship to other pesticides in LD 50 status. The promo lit. that I did find stated that from 1966 when introduced to the USA until the print date on the folder 8 of 86, no one had died from Paraquat poisioning in USA.
