sc ia | Play in the dirt's bull had to meet a lot of requirements before he was even eligible to be in that sale. When he was delivered to the bull test feed lot last fall he had to weigh 2.5 pounds per day of age or more, be born after March 1 2011, adg had to be in the top 3/4 of the bulls on test, min adg ratio of 90, min 1,100 pound adjusted yw, min 11.5 sqare in. rib eye, and a min 32 centimeter scrotal just to be in the sale. Obviously the better he does in all those categories the more perceived value he will have. Also has to pass a soundness and disposition screening. Throw in phenotype and epd's and what mood the buyers are in and you come up with his value. Sale manager and auctioneer have to do a good job too. I probably left a few things out. | |
