south central IOWA | I'd say it's a hole but maybe not a big hole. I would assume you have never sold a 1/2 blood Angus/Simmental bull. For some reason I have noticed that Angus sired 1/2 bloods tend to sell better than Simmental sired ones. Has to hold true with purebreds too doesn't it?
I would totally agree with RCD about generations buy into what Dad and Granddad bought.
BTW, if I remember correctly, the $10,000 bull that sold at the last sale I went to was out of the same sire as your bull. | |
