Subject: Re: Wheat harvest in Kansas

the wheat in this area is going downhill fast. barley yellow dwarf scattered through fields that have spots the size of two or three pickups that dont want to even head. mosaic has hit this area hard claiming several hundred acres, stripe rust has taken its toll, most fields were sprayed but even the ones that were are now missing the bottom half of leaves due to lack of penetration. tops are starting to show common leaf rust. last week we had 3 straight days of 90 degrees and wind blowing 20-30 mph, not good for peak water usage.
