Kaukauna WI
We mix our first crop with our 2nd 3rd and 4th crops which almost always have in the high 100's RFV. We locked in soybeans the first of the year when it was $300 a ton versus the $400 it is now. We also locked in other sources of protein at a good price. A lot of it has to do with locking feed in, which is what we've been getting better at since ethanol.

You do give up quantity for quality, and I'd rather buy protein in a truck with an auger than run out of feed and have to buy forage.
