Yorkshire UK | It's a strange one, I have a tower on XP rather older than this which can only take 1GB RAM and although not lightning fast it's quite acceptable for web browsing - although clearly it is dealing with a very different online experience to what it was designed for.
Someone else will say it so I will too, Norton can slow some machines down by 'checking' everything.
You would be fine with MSE instead and it's free.
Not sure that really explains serious slow loading though and some say recently Norton is not so bad . | |
