Dealer we talked to last year said he only ordered 1000 for customer order, everything he ordered for the lot was 540. He was in an area where there are more hobby type and small cow-calf operations then grain farms. He also only had 15' mowers. I would think that 1000 would be more common on a 20' and probably more popular with grain farmers who have larger tractors which are only used for mowing incidentally.
