We have an early 7230R and everyone loves it. It has front axle and cab suspension. It's more nimble than an 8R but it has the power and weight. Our unbalasted 7R weighs 24200 lbs.
Deere has the IVT issue fixed. They did some preventative work on ours and worked flawless all fall and spring.
