Put up loose hay here through 1992. Bought a used Hesston 5500 baler for the 1993 hay season. All bales after that but went back to loose stacking one year when my baler tractor spent the summer in the shop.

I ran the IH 303 combine when I was a kid. No cab. Very dirty job.

Another dirty job was grinding grain with the old JD hammer mill belted up to a Case DC.

Drove the old Jeep while Dad fed out the back. I wasn't tall enough to use the accelerator. Pulled the choke out partway and it functioned as a throttle. One time I hit the gate post and broke it off. Not fun changing out a post in the middle of winter.
