NW Minnesota
I remember being about 4 or 5 and picking rock with the the WD45 and a hayrack. Grandpa, grandma and dad would pick rock with forks and throw them up on the trailer. I wasn't able to reach the clutch from the seat, so I stood on the platform and ran the hand clutch when they wanted me to stop or go. Also remember bagging sweet clover seed in burlap bags under the yard light standing in the back of the '47 Ford grain truck. Around 6 I started plowing with the 706 diesel and a 5 bottom plow. Grandpa got to drive the "new" 1979 1086 and I followed behind him round after round. We would stop for morning lunch, take grandpa's '55 chev truck home for dinner, and also stop for afternoon lunch. Things were at a much slower pace back then. I'm 38 now.
