Greasing old IH runner planter in the front yard, grandpa had two four rows and welded up a quadron hitch to make it an 8 row. Showed me where all the fittings were and gave me the grease gun.

I think first time alone on tractor I mowed roads with sickle mower and Farmall H. I was too young to push in clutch so he said if anything happened just push in kill switch. I thought I was hot stuff.

What I wouldn't give to have that day again.
