Loft forks for loose hay. You put it into a loose load of hay on a wagon, and hoist the haup on the trolly that is in the peak of the beam barns around here, you slide the trolley across over top of the mow and trip the teeth to let it go. Lifted by a horse or two and some pullies.
No I have not used a set.
Someone will have pictures of it in action, I'll bet!
