North central North Dakota

I was told that they do not work well with Pinto Beans.  I decided to add the shut offs to my interplants as well as the corn rows to make the planter to really run the same for all planting.  May not have the payback as quick on soybeans.  Since my unit is a 2004 model it would have more expensive to control everything with a Deere unit and my AMS support in the area has not been very good for me so have been going more towards Ag Leader equipment.  I updated to Precision Planting equipment also on all the row units at the same time I put on new disks, scrapers, gauge wheel arms, firming wheel arm bushings and put in totally tubular fertilizer tubes in the 16-30 rows.  Should almost be a new planter for me. An upgrade over my 8 row 7000.
