well the lead disk works pretty good have planted through old graveled farm sites and it will still put the seed in the ground.and the disk angle is less than others so i believe it causes less seed trench compaction,my opinion. seems like there is more disk wear than some of the other makes. i would consider the down pressure air bags .the oem monitor doesn't give enough seeding info. as some of the after market ones. once i got mine  tweaked it's pretty much fill and go.
