NEMO | If you're not in the 28%(actually 25%?) tax bracket, you're not payin $10,000/acre for land, whether you had it saved or not. Takes to much after tax money to service the principal portion of the debt. $10,000/acre land, is about $16,000/acre before taxes. If you've raised any kind of a crop in the last 3-5 years and you're not in the 25% tax bracket, you better know taxes or be using a good tax adviser. BY the way, none of this is relavent if you inherited everything. |
