Elkmont, AL
around here larger farmers are buying them as a second machine to a 47xx or 48xx to keep at farms that are a good ways away from their other farms. Also nobody builds a machine really that size anymore, and that style of machine is really popular down here in cotton country, plus there extremely simple and less competent farm help seem to be able to operate them with little complication. You just can't stick anybody in the cab of a 47xx with autosteer, section control, etc. I personally went from a 6600 to a 4700 and would be hard pressed to get back into the loud rough riding 6600. There's no comparison in operator comfort and productivity.
