We've had a 568 for 2 years now with no problems yet.  I'm with you.  Pretty much the only place I hear about how junky JD balers are is on the net.  Our 2 nearest JD dealers at one time had over 20 CNH BR series taken in on trade so the JD 8 series can't be that bad of a baler.
