you have the option to know what every truck load of ready mix  has in it,   AIR and Temp , Slump at arival are the biggies when truck shows up.........

You can have (pay ) for some to be there and test evey load, that is when you will make the batcher honest...

....

have plenty of good grunts on job site and lay the concreate out in a  2 slump,   4 and over slump will be rewarded with troubles ...........

the window for air test ,     5.3 to 6.0  roughly    ,    lower or higher are not so good......... air is very important as if it is in tollerance it will let the concreate flex with out cracking.....

just go watch them poor a fed or state bridge and see how anul every one is about what I have said here, I know , I have bacthed fed jobs.

And if you want the best when it comes to rebar,  then get epoxy treated rebar,  cause rust in side cured concreate is not so good for long term concrete.. just saying

Also,   test have showed concrete can cure for 100-200 years..
