I agree with the others, white smoke (other than on startup) is usually water.
If the tractor is not using water, check the overhead. The PT unit injectors need adjustment once in a while. I once had a Vers 750 (NA 855) that smoked like a freight train when I bought it. It cleaned right up after an overhead. But it was black smoke.
