NC IA | 8.3 cummins, common head gasket seeping externally, doesn't really hurt anything but makes a mess, but not much for head problems so to speak. A few cracked exhaust manifolds, some early ones had piston ring issues but that's all long been resolved, for the most part very bulletproof engine. Will make 10k+ hours pretty easy. Some are cranking 250+ hp and can run warm, have to have super clean radiator, can be a minor PITA to get good and clean. Good luck. | |
