NC IA | We planted for 30 years with a cabless 1026 hydro. Then around the turn of the millenieum we got soft and used a 986 for a couple years. Then about ten years ago did something stupid and "accidently" bought a 3088 open station on ebay, been planting with that up till this spring, found a cherry 186 hydro, now the new planting rig. It took the second day of running it before I even thought to turn the radio on!
I feel your pain. On a nice calm 70* day there is nothing better in the world than to plant corn with no cab. On a 45* cold windy night there is nothing worse in the world.
