I just looked on the CNH parts breakdown. Mine is an early s/n 9130 and on the early models according to the breakdown has a resistor, however on the later s/n breakdown dosen't show a resistor, so maybe I just need to bypass the resistor if I can find it and leave it on high speed, it thats even the problem.
