Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.

I wan unaware of the solar activity and possible problems.  I was doing some tillage with an Autopilot/CFX-750 on WAAS.

I did notice some more inconsistency than I was used to but not terrible.  I stopped to pick up a rock and when I returned got the "low voltage error from the steering position module" message.  I inspected the lead fromt the sensor to the the main harness and it looked OK.  I reseated the connectors and returned to the tractor.

I believe the only way to clear the fault is to cycel the power on the Nav II.  Without thinking I powered the 750 down rather than the Nav II (they are powered separately in my case).  This did not clear the fault so I powerered the Nav II Down/Up.  This cleared the fault, I drove a bit manually and attempted to set a new AB line.  This did not seem to work properly the first time but did on the second try.  At that point, I finished the field.

I wouldn't think that the warning and fault would be related to GPS problems.  This seems to be a weak spot in the Nav II setup.  I have seen problems with the short cable several times among various customers.  I have a spare but can't seem to find it.

Another operator took over and worked another small field last night.  I have not discussed any problems with him yet this morning.
