NE Ohio | We had the same issue with the frequency reverting back. We did the manual frequency update back in March as we were concerned with the Feb. 14 software update (version 3.10.1390) due to potential issues being reported here. Today after being rained out for a couple of days we encountered the "Quick start status failed external antenna disconnected serial nmea inactive..." error message and had the yellow status bar with the receiver on WAAS (we're on SF2). It would not allow autotrac to engage. We thought it may be because we just renewed our SF2 subscription and it was somehow fouled up. However, after speaking with our dealer and reading the reports here that must have just been a coincidence.
To fix the problem we found the default frequency checkbox had been checked in the Starfire setup page with an old frequency listed. Following the manual update process we unchecked it and input the new frequency. For some reason the tractor orientation didn't align with the AB line on the navigation screen. We established new AB lines and everything worked fine after that.
I noticed that yesterday Deere updated their Stellar Support article on the frequency change so it is likely there is a system wide issue being encountered.
