I was quite sure I had a friend that purchased one in 1973 and had some real "fits" with it for awhile. Maybe it was a prototype unit. I remember one of the biggest issues was throwing chains because of paint on the sprockets. My father purchased a 7100 in 1975 and my brother is still planting with it.
JD 7000 came out??
