Illinois | That's a lot of hours, but it could still be in very good condition if normal wear parts have been replaced. We ran one until about 2000 separator hours, and in that time the following items were replaced or needed replaced: 2nd gear went out of transmission; clean grain elevator trough was worn through in several places; upper feeder chain sprockets; feeder chain; clean grain elevator chain; feeder chain adjustment brackets cracked and welded; rotor veins; rotor bars; all augers (bubble up to grain tank the worst); unloading auger tube; chopper knives and stationery knives; shaker bushings; updated shaker bushing drives; feeder drum; a few belts, chains, bearings; liner in grain tank.
I have to think that much of the above has already been done on the machine with that many hours. | |
