TLSJR - 4/22/2012 13:39 How many lbs per acre of urea do you broadcast for corn. Some acres are corn on corn and some were beans last year. I am also putting on 200 lbs of 10-12 24 dry fert on with the planter. Putting the urea on with a pull behind broadcast spreader. south central minnesota, good ground and not irrigated. Hope thats enough info. Thanks for the help Tom

As you know, the CoC will require a bit more N then the bean ground - due to residue break down.
Figure about one pound of N per bushel of corn you want . . . Don't forget some AMS for sulfer. On CoC maybe consider a strong pound of N per yeild goal bushel, w/AMS. . . . .
