Now, that's just too easy . . . .  . You'll never truely appreaciate your method, untill you've crawled under/around those gangs - attached.  
While you have it off, may as well slip about a 5ft hunk of square tube inside, centered in the middle, of the tube and plug weld it. Do that to the back one also. Sometimes they will crack, and beefing them up keeps that problem away.
