If you currently have cows and calves you probably can handle any type of cattle,maybe buy some 3-4wt calves and get them going,do the shots and getting them bunk broke-background for 60-90 days and resell them to a feedlot-if you can get 80-100 head loads this is what other feeders want,not a lot of risk-especially if you can buy the right kind of calves,and with your xtra pasture you could turn them out for 30 days!
