near dyersville iowa | Thanks for the answer. Here s where Im at currently. I only have 140 acres. Having machinery for both cattle, hay, and crops is nearly impossible to pencil on that small amount. So Im looking to specialize. But with just buying the farm, I have little room for error at the moment, so I was wondering what other cow/calf guys do to try to cut the risk of a major downward price move. I know it doesnt look like its going to happen anytime soon, but I always like to be prepared. | |
