I look at bushel weights and barley is 48 compared to 56 so right there barley is 86% of corn. Barley starch breaks down more rapidly in the rumen as compared to corn starch so be careful about switching around too fast or too much because you could get some acidosis going on. I used to run 75% corn, 25% barley in my dairy ration. Switched to 100% corn and my BF seems to be slightly better. I wonder if I didn't have some SARA going on with the barley in there.
