Manitoba | Unfortunately in the market for either / or Corn or Barley as we are almost out.
Do you guys have a calculation to price the equivalent value of each compared to the other. Such as if Barley is 5.00 / bu then Corn at 7.00 is equivalent. I've always used a figure in my head of barley being worth 90 % of Corn but I don't even remember where that figure came from. We grow both and feed either or both at times (both works well but sometimes it's a headached dealing with both through hammer mill or roller and keeping 2 systems running.
Any suggestions how to compare price when buying? If anyone has any to sell in my end of the world I'd be happy to hear from you. Email in profile.
