Northern NE Panhandle
I don't know where a person would buy a GOOD bull that wasn't raised with other bulls? There are so many factors that go into whether a bull will test or not. Age has a lot to do with it, some that sell bulls here won't test them until 13 months of age. Are you talking detached heads, split tails, or just a no test? As far as keeping bulls seperate I laugh, we have 15 bulls and the older 9 run together and the younger 6 run together. The bulls that I bought have come out of pens 150 or more as they were fed from weaning to sale. I realize we have superior vets out here but I think a vet from the corn belt would be laughed/run out of town within a couple weeks.
