There are places where rootworm pressure just doesn't seem to exist compared to other places where guys use granular insecticide on nearly every acre whether its in stalks or bean stubble. Back 12 or so yrs ago I worked for a farm ~100 miles east of here. They planted a pretty good % of CoC every year without any insecticide. They had less rootworm problems in their CoC than we do in bean stubble. |
