Western Iowa | I think the proof is in the pudding, If it runs real good now and has power, pay the bill for the carb.
It is not unusual for a 17 year old manlift to need the carb rebuilt. Likely got a chunk of crap in it. That can make it run good one minute, like junk the next
And for the other posters, it has a 2.3 ford engine that is definatly carburated. Being a 1995 it is an H series. The 60ft lifts did not have fuel injection until 2000-2001 after the 1st year or 2 of the S series.
Genie's started with EFI about 1999. I have seen a couple machines that were older than that with EFI, They were a retrofit. | |
