If you don't want a headland pattern you can just make a boundary. In the setup for the display you can change the things that are markable, you probably have road or fence or waterway or hole or whatever there. You set one to boundary and then you can draw them around fields easily without having to make a headland. I do most of mine this way as I already have lines made and don't usually make headland passes planting.
