Subject: Re: Remlinger spike harrow on chisel plow

N/E Iowa
Bought a 714 2 years ago, with a buster bar used it for 4 rounds and took it off. Bought a Remlinger spiked harrow ( $3,600.00 new) it will knock down the ridges..... but it with not leave it level like a disk. I used to have a DMI disk closer and loved it. left it smooth on top. that was on a DMI disk chisel. I also have 6 stalk stomper and have no problems with plugging, or dragging stalks. If you chop the stalks and use the remlinger leveler behind the 714, it will help level alot better. I run 5.5 mph, and 7 to 8 inches deep. 4 inch twisted concave.
